Last Friday we had the honour of photographing Heather and Thomas’s wedding in Edmonton. Heather and Thomas met when they worked together at the Wal-Mart photo studio and soon realized that they grew up around the corner from each other but never met until they started working together.
The day started out in St. Albert with the girls getting pampered at Bliss Hair by Design while the guys got ready at Thomas’s parents house. Afterwards, we headed back to Heather’s parents house where the girls finished getting ready and where we got to meet 10 week old Wallace the Westie. He was so adorable and he may have stolen a little bit of the show that day.
 Once everyone was ready, we headed downtown for their ceremony at Robertson Wesley United Church which we’ve had the pleasure of photographing in several times. It’s a beautiful old church with amazing stained glass windows so we were so happy that we had a few minutes after family photos to duck back inside and create a few photographs of the bride and groom inside the church. Afterwards we headed to a local park in Edmonton’s River Valley for photographs with the bridal party.
After surviving the mosquitoes and the heat for their formals session, we headed to the Matrix Hotel for their reception and dance.
