Take a gorgeous looking couple, add in an adorable puppy, some fresh snow and above seasonal temperatures and you have the perfect recipe for a beautiful winter engagement photo session in Edmonton. Haley & Brendan are getting married in Edmonton this summer and Bruce met up with them while they were in the city running some wedding errands to photograph their engagement session in Whitemud Park.

For many couples with fur babies, it’s hard to find a way to include them on the wedding day so the engagement session is a great opportunity to get some photos with them and since we’re dog people, we love it when couples include their pets in their photos. It’s also a great way to make the session even more personal. After a few hours in the car, Kia was pretty excited to go for a walk in Whitemud Park and had a blast running through the snow and finding her favourite thing in the world – sticks.
