Last Sunday, we had the pleasure of photographing Victoria & Tim’s wedding at the Hotel MacDonald in Edmonton. We love small intimate weddings and Victoria & Tim’s special day got back to the essence of what a wedding is all about – two people declaring their love for each other in front of close friends and family. Choosing a wedding photographer for your day is no easy task with so many great photographers in Edmonton to choose from so we were especially honoured when Tim’s best man and fellow photographer Drew May, recommended us to capture their day.
While weddings are generally about celebrating the present and looking towards the future, it’s also a great opportunity to reflect on the past and remember those who helped the lucky couple get to where they are. We loved the vintage details and the nods to their parents & grandparents that Victoria & Tim included on their wedding day. Victoria looked stunning wearing her mother’s wedding dress from the 1950s. It was accessorized beautifully with her grandmother’s pearls and earrings. Victoria & Tim also exchanged rings that previously belonged to their parents. faBLOOMosity provided Victoria’s gorgeous bouquet which featured a hand-made wrap that Victoria’s mother stitched.
Thank you again for letting us share in your special day guys. Here are a few of our favourite images from your day.
