Covid-19 has affected all of us and changed how we interact with one another. It’s affected the way we work, shop, eat, socialize, commute, exercise, & entertain. It’s taken a physical, emotional, mental, and financial toll on almost everyone but the human spirit is resilient and we’re finding new and creative ways to work our way through this crisis.

With restrictions still in place on mass gatherings for the foreseeable future, Covid-19 has affected many people who had a wedding scheduled for 2021. Many have made the difficult decision to postpone their celebrations until later in the year or have decided to move their wedding to 2022. But there is another option.

Many couples have decided to move forward with their plan to get married in 2021 by holding a small intimate wedding that complies with the current health regulations to keep their friends and families safe. These "socially distanced” weddings will take place at venues that permit people to maintain physical distancing while still being present for the couple. They can be held at a variety of indoor and outdoor locations provided that attendance does not exceed the maximum number of people allowed under the current government regulations (including any vendors such as the officiant, photographer, and videographer.)

This special package is only being offered for weddings taking place between January 1st - August 31st, 2021. Here are the details of what is included along with the terms & special conditions that apply to these packages.

Our pre-built Covid-19 wedding photography package offers the best value for your socially distanced wedding taking place between January 1st - August 31st, 2021. To guarantee our availability during this time, we recommend booking one of our packages as soon as you have confirmed your wedding date and location. Please see below for additional terms and conditions.

If your wedding is taking place after August 31st, 2021, be sure to check out our standard photography packages for more information. Due to Covid-19, there has been an increase in demand in 2021 for Saturday weddings during the high season (May - September). We recommend that couples book their ceremony and reception locations as soon as possible to confirm their date prior to booking.

A non-refundable & non-transferable retainer of $750 and a signed contract are required to confirm a booking. The final balance including GST is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding date.

The photographer shall adhere to all guidelines provided by AHS including practicing social distancing, maintaining a minimum of 6 feet from their subjects, proper cleaning of any shared contact surfaces or items, and the wearing of any required PPE.

The couple must adhere to all conditions related to large gatherings as directed by Alberta Health Services as of the day of the wedding. This includes limits placed on the number of people allowed to gather (vendors must be included in the total guest count), restrictions regarding the use of PPE, restrictions with regards to social distancing, and any other rules or requirements mandated by AHS not mentioned above.

The photographer reserves the right to withdraw their services without compensation to the client should any of the above conditions not be met or should the photographer deem their health & safety or the health and safety of their associates to be at risk. Any fines or tickets issued for not following AHS guidelines are solely the responsibility of the client and the photographer assumes no liability if the event is canceled or postponed as a result of not following AHS regulations.

The couple is also responsible for guest conduct and must ensure that guests are following the necessary health protocols that have been enacted to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Photography shall stop immediately if the couple or their guests fail to follow these guidelines, a warning will be issued, and photography will only resume when safe to do so. Should the unsafe conduct continue, photography will be discontinued and the photographer shall remove themselves from the site immediately without notice or compensation to the couple.

Locations chosen for photography will also permit social distancing and not require the photographer to have to be within 6 feet or 2 meters of anyone in order to conduct their duties.
