Last week, Sarah and I flew out to Hamilton, Ontario to attend Nadine and Phil’s wedding before we headed down to Phoenix. Getting to Hamilton wasn’t an easy process and wound up taking a lot longer than planned due to some mechanical difficulties and a flight cancellation but eventually we got there. Upon our arrival the weather gods weren’t smiling upon us as it was cold and raining. Fortunately the weather improved a bit when the wedding rolled around although it was still quite cold out.
We started our day at Phil and Nadine’s house to get some shots of Nadine getting ready for her big day. From there we headed over to Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church for the ceremony. It was a gorgeous church with one of the longest isles I’ve seen. We all definitely got our workout getting from the back of the church to the front and back again.
After the ceremony, Nadine, Phil and their attendants braved the cold weather and return of the rain to get some quick shots outdoors at the beautiful Knolwood Golf and Country Club in Ancaster. The manager of the club gave us golf carts to drive around in which made getting to a couple of neat locations very convenient. The lighting was great on the day but it was so cold and the rain started to pick up so we only wound up having less than a half-hour outside before our poor bride started to look a little frozen and we had to head indoors to warm up by the fireplace. Thanks for braving the cold and hanging in there guys while we got some great shots.
Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day. I hope you guys had a great honeymoon in Ireland and that you enjoy these teasers now that you’re back.
