After a brief hiatus to enjoy the holidays after another busy wedding season, we’re back at it and today we’re thrilled to share a few photos from an engagement session that we recently photographed in Stony Plain. Kim & Terry are getting married this May and we’re looking forward to kicking off our 2018 wedding season with them. Originally we had planned to photograph their engagement session between Christmas and New Years but Edmonton experienced a deep freeze for a couple of weeks with temps in the -30s with the wind chill. Thankfully the weather warmed up and we met up with them a couple of weeks ago to shoot their engagement photos at Olde Back Roads in Stony Plain.
Olde Back Roads was a new location for us and Kim actually discovered it on Facebook. The owner Gloria decided a few years ago to open up her beautiful property in Stony Plain to photographers for sessions and over the past few years, she’s expanded the property to include a bunch of really nice sets complete with props like chalkboards, vintage vehicles, blankets, etc.
Enjoy these sneak peeks from Kim & Terry’s winter engagement session at Olde Back Roads and keep an eye on the blog for sneak peeks from their wedding at the Country Lodge later this year!
