Courtney & Denver’s Wedding at the Hotel MacDonald in Edmonton

We always feel so honoured when we get to capture some of life’s most important moments for the same family and that was the case a few weeks ago when we photographed Courtney & Denver’s wedding at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald in Edmonton. Last spring we were invited out to Denver’s parents acreage to photograph one of Denver’s sisters who was graduating from high school and we also created some family photos while everyone was together. That was the first time we met Courtney & Denver and we were thrilled when they asked us to photograph their wedding.

Everything took place at the Hotel MacDonald which always makes for a nice relaxed day for everyone when you don’t have to worry about driving to multiple locations. We got to work alongside the great team from SEN Studios who helped all the girls get ready with hair and makeup. Denver surprised Courtney with not just one gift but to including a beautiful necklace, a dozen long stemmed roses, and a teddy bear. To ensure that he arrived on time for the ceremony, Courtney presented Denver with a beautiful watch from fossil.

Their ceremony was held in the beautiful Wedgewood Room and then we used the grounds of the hotel to create photos with Courtney, Denver, and their wedding party while the hotel flipped the room for their reception.
