We’re delighted to share a few of Nicole Ashley’s wedding photos with our readers. We were honoured to be included among a number of talented vendors who helped bring Nicole & Jon’s wedding to life. Nicole & Jon were married during an intimate ceremony in Sutro Forest, a 100-year-old eucalyptus forest in the heart of San Francisco. A few weeks later, they held a reception for family and friends at their favourite restaurant in Edmonton. Nicole and Jon are such sweet and talented people. Nicole is a fellow photographer and Jon is an artist and musician and they both met nine years ago at Grant MacEwan.

Their wedding was recently featured in the spring issue of Blush Magazine which is available for free at our studio for any couples who meet with us for a wedding consultation. Alongside Jill Coursen, Bruce helped photograph Nicole & Jon’s intimate reception at The Parlour Italian Kitchen & Bar in downtown Edmonton. Gabe McClintock Photography captured the amazing photographs of their wedding day.

The reception was a beautiful event designed by Jennifer Bergman Weddings with florals by faBLOOMosity, entertainment by Urban Metropolis, cake by The Art of Cake and decor rental from Look Events & Special Event Rentals. Justine Ma designed the stationery and did all of the hand letterings while Stefanie Carlson and Janna Huget from Behind the Blush did Nicole’s hair and makeup.
