In August of this year, Sarah and I were blessed to photograph Dao and Joseph’s beautiful wedding at the Matrix Hotel in Edmonton.  Now that we’re all caught up from a busy fall and Christmas, we finally have the time to share their album design with our readers.

Dao and Joseph opted to do all of their photography before the ceremony which was a wonderful opportunity that we don’t often get. It was a hazy day as forest fires from BC blanketed the city in a thick layer of brown smoke but we still managed to capture the Edmonton skyline which both of them wanted to have in their family photos. Everyone in the bridal party were troopers and braved some muddy trails and mosquitoes to get some wonderful photographs in our beautiful river valley. The ceremony and reception were both held at the Matrix Hotel which is a fabulous venue for anyone looking to book a location for a wedding or event. The room felt like something out of a soap opera with candles, white linens, and gorgeous floral arrangements from Graham and Lane florists on every table. We had such a great time at their reception which featured belly dancing, amazing food, tearful and heartfelt speeches, and some crazy dancing. We made sure to capture all of these memorable moments for Dao + Joseph, their friends, and family so that we could put them all together in a beautiful album that told the complete story of their amazing day.
